The Club's last Record Fair was held in early April (2022) and a good crowd of traders and buyers attended. The numbers were slightly down on previous Fairs but with Covid still an issue it's not a problem unique to us.
Thanks to all who supported us, the club members who assisted in the set up and clean up and especially to Frank Glosny who once again undertook much of the organizational work. The success of the Fair is in no small part due to Frank's hard work.
The fairs raise money for the club and prove very popular with the music fans of Perth. Although the club concentrates its interests on the 1950's and 1960's a wide range of music is offered by the vendors at these fairs, everything from folk to electronica, on vinyl, cassette, CD and even sheet music. The eras covered range from the 1940's to last year.
Our next Fair for 2022 will be at at the usual venue of the Vic Park Leisurelife Centre, Gloucester Street, Vic Park (just to the north of the Park Shopping Centre). The date is still to be decided but it will be in either September or October.
Admission is just $3 for adults and free admission for under 16's
